Elegant without being overworked - top class! We were unfortunately seated behind a pillar, next to a serving station and on rather squat and uncomfortable chairs.

It is a place of theatre and we had hoped for Hakasan style food - which is nearly there just lacked a bit of punch. That could also be down to meeting the needs of the German pallet.

So I was staying at the Provocateur and decided to check out Golden Phoenix. I sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed myself, watching Tarek the mixologist and Seher his colleague, concoct some interesting cocktails with their individual accompanying little amuse bouches!
